A Project of Telemedicine

Following a cooperation with Alcatel, Socrate Medical introduces a telediagnosis project, allowing patients' clinical data to be shared within and out hospital structures. We contribute to the project by using a specific software named "TraveLight", conceived to archive and manage patients' clinical data, to coincide with the use of ultrasound systems.
Alcatel contributes to this project with a software solution called MyTeamWork, permitting the communication and cooperation at the level of documents sharing within work groups.
The entire telediagnosis system uses the wireless broadband Wimax technology, so that the ultrasound system on which the softwares have been installed is able to send images and data to everybody everywhere, with real time diagnoses. Furthermore the entire telediagnosis decreases the time to decide where to bring the patient or it allows the sending of patients' data to their houses or specialistic centers.

This second aim points at planning courses to be held on distance regarding the diagnostic imaging field
