@malkieshort Correcting myself! It's also a bonus track on the remastered CD release of this album! That'll teach me to leap in without enough coffee in my system!
There is another wonderful piece, by David Tibet's Current 93, inspired by the same theme: it's The Dissolution Of 'The Boat Millions Of Years' (included in the album Black Ships Ate the Sky). I often wonder whether Current 93 took notice of this song, even because of David Tibet's appreciation of early progressive bands (like Comus). And vice versa wheter Peter Hammill has ever be informed about the song by Current 93.
@vicpur yes, I remember the charisma tours with van der graaf genesis and bell and arc. wasnt that keen on genesis even then

I saw VDGG at the Lyceum on the Strand London about 1969/70? The support band were new comers by the name of Genesis.

It's not on this album! It was a B-side and did appear on the '68-71' compilation.

Trying to work out which is my favourite track from this album. But they are all too damn good.
