DescEnd ..... This film although its own entity is also the final stage of the "Lift" film series i made. People asked me frequently if this was "Lift III" the truth is at some point it might have been, during the artistic creation i started to see this piece was something far more than a sequel , in-fact it makes my skin crawl to utter the word sequel near this film. Its not mine, i just made it, it's out there and its being, i just helped it live, gave it life. For the visual of this film and the music it chose (not me) are far more than a man making art, it is ultimately the universe expressing itself, and perhaps the coincidence is that this expression of the universe actually wanted to go in to space.
Movies and stories struggle to do little more than titillate , i find it a little sad i have to use a camera and be bunched in with films. I made this statement some time ago before and was asked maybe what you are thinking "If you didn't use a camera and play the game , how on earth would it exist"
My answer is, future...... future future future. Think!
In a real world, freedom , no control , time space and everything available......

I would walk my people through the film, no cameras , i would just take them to the places, they follow my steps and turn as i turn, walking through the art, no cameras or problems with ranges in quality, your eyes , direct experience of what i need you to look at.

That will be the future of art, not films, no cameras , no editing
baah for this caveman procedure

Fnord bring on the future

Thank you for experiencing my work

  • Your work is really coming along and finding it's own style/voice. I like the dislocation in this. "I hadn't even packed my bags and i'd arrived..."

  • @bangtokhammer Thank you very much for your words i really appreciate what you've said. Thanks
