lol, ok now I do not think I could do that but it would be neat. as for the market aspects of it. The first one I am designing is for me and then once I have that figured out I am going to figure out what other things I can work into the design and then as I gather ideas and finish them off I will be able to add or subtract different things once I figure out how to make it modular.

hiya. so yeah this sounds like a meritable idea, i'm no expert on the bed table market though - if you planned to put this out there. i wonder how many people would be looking for the one of your thoughts. maybe it could ship with optional addons for what people would need to save unnecessary (horrid word to spell!!) manufacture. as for addons for the table, i've never used one but i guess the ability to turn it into a snowsled would be cool! :)
