12-no it turned out to be 25 killed and if ng wanted to escape extradition from canada to calif. to face the death pen. instead of all the legal stunts he pulled in canada and later in calif. to prevent that it was simple. While he was serving his 4 year sentence for shooting a sec. guard in calgary, while he was in gen pop in prison he needed to simply kill a fellow inmate or guard and canada would have never released him. Unfortunately our society has become so "civilized" (thanks to left-wing shrinks and social workers) human scum like Ng and his ilk will never receive true justice. Not so long ago in this country, filth like Ng would have been swinging at the end of a rope in very short order. We should all be ashamed at what we have let happen to our justice system. Criminals and their rights have become more important than the victims and justice...
