Rep. Senator Lindsey Graham has become an unlikely champion for action on climate change. His position has irked just about everybody, even reaping censure by his own party for supporting a bill that would clamp down on greenhouse gases. (Dec. 17)

exactly. Goldman Sachs owns 10% of the Chicago Climate Exchange. Gensler used to work for Goldman Sachs and he's head of the CFTC which wants to run the Carbon Credit trade. So already they get to create a bubble with it.

After Frank's financial reform, which was influenced by Goldman Sachs...they also get a 2nd taxpayer sponsored bailout when they fuck up again.

IT's about money and power, not the environment.

As a conservative and a Republican, I applaud Senator Graham.  Global warming is real. According to separate NASA and NOAA reports within the last few weeks, 1. 2010 was tied for the warmest year on record, 2. the recent decade was the warmest ever, and the 12 hottest years have all been since 1997. Our challenge is to find conservative solutions. Name-calling won't change the science.

exactly, I noticed after I saw this report that the Russians have stated that the UK is distorting climate data from Russian weather stations that do not prove global warming. This ought to be a major news item.

you want to "create jobs"? how about *not* voting for things like NAFTA and GATT which sent almost all our manufacturing and industrial jobs to third world nations or working to have these free trade treaties repealed...? how about enacting trade tariffs?

i just read an article the other day that said 2/3 of the windmills in those big Texas windfarms are made in China. how about that, Graham? is that how your global warming idiocy is going to create 'green' American jobs?

Looney Graham,

went to the North Pole & Santa showed him that his workshop was underwater. Looney told Santa that scientists had been warning that the ice caps were melting but that he had never paid any attention to what those old pointy headed know it alls had to say.
