@imizzycox its not humanly impossible for humans to bend a quarter. there are videos galore of people doing it.
theres even a video of the worlds strongest redneck bending a penny with his teeth.
youd be surprised what power an aircannon\gun can impart or the power of the human body.
how about mythbusters. they put a wire dart through, yes THROUGH a palm tree using compressed air. and i believe it almost made it through the concrete wall and out of the shop too.
be a little bit more open minded.

This guy obviously took a dart, cut it in half, and glued it to two sides of the quarter. If it's humanly impossible for a human to bend a quarter, it's definitely impossible for a dart to go through one

no this is total bullshit, these darts that are used for that blowgun are really frail. The tip was in perfect condition. There is no way that it could of punctured that quarter and remain untouched.

I don't know about the validity of this. I have to wonder why the PVC barrel didn't blow off since it was just a slip fit. I've shot some crazy stuff out of air cannons and know they are powerful. It is possible the needle could penetrate the soft quarter, but I think the back half of the needle would have been bent or broke off from the sudden stop. I saw this happen shooting a 1/4" fiberglass rod through 3/4" walnut veneer plywood.
