Assist trains did suck, but saying it's "stupid" or "not away to play" isn't very logic. Assist trains are the proper way to play as attacking random targets = lose. As dumb as it may be, you'll still see it in WAR if you face competent players :)

It's more the way most people in these assist trains were doing it, totally oblivious to what was happening around them.

3 DPS chasing me for that long (and that happened quite often) is utterly stupid.

The "assist" technic in itself is a good and often used tactic of course.

I won't lie though, WAR is for sure different than DAoC, I mean, it's not at all DAoC 2. That said, as I mentioned in the video, I DID personally found the same feeling I had in DAoC, which I never found in games such as Lotro, WOW or AoC. As I said, I think it's some kind of Mythic touch that I like.

finally someone talking about DAoC and WAR in a vid... I'm tired of all those "lol omfg ist it better than wow" vids...

yeah DAoC... a great game... unbelievable feeling in RvR... great communities... great fun... even if you got instantly bombed the hell out of yourself by some PBAoE grp after running around Odin's Gate for hours ^^ but the thrill of the hunt kept you going ;)

I'd love to see that in WAR... but sadly I think all the WoW people might ruin it... =/

DAoC still got the best pvp system. I also did WAR and left. In DAoC you belonged to a side. You wanted to defgend your lands, keeps and guild. In WAR it was no feeling at all. It was zerg zerg zerg. You never had the feeling you belonged to a side. Server balance in WAR was realy bad.
