What kind of example are you going to set for your apprentice by exhibiting dis-
regard for basic power tool safety? Get your goggles or face shield in place
before you turn the power switch on! This is no flippant diatribe either. Your project was a delight but imagine the outcome had you been maimed or
worse. Your leg could've been hurt kicking yourself in the ass for lack of common sense, non?

U can tell that the bottem is curved so it looks empy put the hole on the top is hidden

Do you know if it will work just as well to have a rectangular prism shape for the box? I'm hoping to have one of the long sides be the front. Will the change in shape cause problems with the perspective?

Hmmm...I'm not sure. I think as long as the mirror is set at a 45 degree angle, it should work.
