We are still on the J Train at this point. I figured a ride all the way to Queens was in order for the occasion of having R42's, since these cars will not be around much longer. We pick up where we left off at Marcy Avenue and run express to Myrtle Avenue. We are held at the signal just before the station, since a Metropolitan Avenue bound M Train had just crossed in front of us. Once we get the signal, we pull into the station. While doing our station work, the radio comes alive and tells our motorman that he will be running express, next stop Broadway Junction, which was due to a police investigation at one of the intermediate stations. Either way, a pleasant surprise for me, since it sped the trip up a bit. Between Marcy Avenue and Broadway Junction, we oppose 3 Manhattan bound sets of R42's. I loved riding in the front car and looking out the window. You can't do that anymore with the new cars. This looks cool with the lights...all i need is some CENSORED.

Cool and rare. The J should run express like that all the time.
