This was my favorite thing growing up. I called my Dad to see if he still had it but unfortunately he gave it to Goodwill. I want one for my son now because he loves the Hot Wheels. BTW, the gas station is supposed to have that bell by the gas pumps that the car hits when it gets to the bottom. Does yours still work?

Yes, the bell still work. It just happens that the car in that sequence missed to hit the trigger, I only saw it after uploading the video so that's the reason why it didn't ring.

didn't this playset come with a little electronic box that make car sounds? like faulty muffler and air wrench?

I had this set when I was a kid and could have sworn it came with it. That box was my favorite toy in the world to play with, especially in conjunction with the he-man snake mountian voice changer.

For your information, NO, it didn't come with anyting electronics. How I know? I got this as a gift when I was a kid so I would remember, and beside I'm holding it right now so I can tell you there is no such accessories or such with that particular playset..

It was made by KIDCO in 1982, part of the Burnin' Key Car line (you inserted a plastic key in the back of the car and squeeze then BOING! Spring-loaded top-speed action!)

One of my best Christmas present EVER! My dad took me to a big Dept. Store in Paris, France and said those magic words: pick the toy you want...I did not hesitate 4 a second and took this wonder back home. Then my dad applied the stickers himself and I could not wait any longer...thank you for bringing back these memories!
