My new Miele Automatic W 432!

This is a video of my latest aquisition: a very cool Miele Automatic W 432!

This machine has a very cool story to it, too :)
I saw this washer at Raimund's local iron dealer. The iron dealer gets a LOT of washers per day, and he keeps all of them for Raimund. Raimund then picks some washers, and the rest of the washers are demolished. The old iron gets crushes and recycled ;)
So while I visited the local iron dealer, I saw this very cool Miele. It looked pretty good, and I immediately fell in love with it!
At Raimund's, we checked the washer for errors. We thought it had a bad pump, but that wasn't the case. The capacitor was broken (it actually popped open!) and the wax was dripping from it. It smelled really really bad. Raimund replaced the capacitor, and we needed to connect a new plug to it (the old plug was cut off), and that was that!

The only thing left for me is to clean the entire machine up, replace the key block and maybe replace the door lock.
The machine acts weird, because dirt has gotten into all flex hoses, and in the pressure switch, too. So I need to fix it ;)

This machine is from early '72. ;)

I've completely disassembled and reassembled the 432, but I'm waiting for 1 new part to arrive. With that, the 432 is completely ready :)

No idea when the vids are coming! I'm waiting for the spare parts. As soon as the machine is fully restored and working, I'll finish the restoring video ;)
