  • the Niva was designed in 1953 and aside from the 5 speed geabox and engine upgrade in the 60s they are still the same and still can eat most off the shelf 4x4 in the slush. constant 4x4, 5 point rear link, coils, center diff lock (not to mention fantastic feeling brakes) what year did the rest of the world start makin this stuff? they DID win Paris to Dakar 2 years running. and what else is still in production from 53 nothin , not even the VW beetle

  • with russian roads thats the only way to go.

  • I want this video on my MY X2-2 phone.

  • @walkandlookup sorry mate ur full of shit izuzu dont even have 2800 v6 let alone u fitting one in a lada the smallest v6 is a 3600 and stands ova a meter high without the intake btw 2800 is a turbo diesel

  • @TrouserPickle The production of Niva started in 1974. The basic engine is an OHC version of a 60's Fiat engine. The whole Lada (VAZ) factory didn't really exist before 1970. There's nothing on the Niva that was designed in the 50's.

  • what raceing is this and from where, pretty cool

  • Herachit zdorovo!!!Klass Yamaha

  • @TrouserPickle Niva was designed in 1973

  • I have owned 2 Nivas allready; one of them with V6 2800 (from a crashed Isuzu Rodeo), and the only correction I would make on this near perfect SUV is POWER, defenitely, more than 100 horses (73 hp is waaaaaay underpowered)
