Stults Family (Niemann-Pick Type C) on November 21, 2008, a local news station interviewed our family.

Niemann-Pick Type C is the cells inability to metabolize cholesterol therefore creating fatty lipids in the brain, liver, spleen, and bone marrow. They have only diagnosed roughly 500 cases worldwide EVER.

On August 8, 2008 we found out that Brisan had Niemann-Pick Type C disease. Shortly there after we received confirmation that Parker also was positive in late September. Duncan was just a carrier of the gene and was ok.

At that point our lives changed forever with this rare disease. We were told not to go home and google Niemann-Pick Type C at the possibility of this diagnosis a few months earlier. The outcome read FATAL and Jennifer just lost it at that point.

God has a plan for our lives and we are not for sure what that exactly in tales but through our situation Brisan & Parker will touch many more lives in a positive way than we will every know.
