Snedden M7 Ultralight undergoing the first static flight test to evaluate the feasibility of wind tunnel flight training and a few other things. On 10-29-09 the M7 was teathered to a 1000 pound portable post which was positioned behind a Piper Aztec controlled by Charity Bender at the Perry County Airport (I86) in New Lexington, Ohio.

  • Prior to this static flight testing the Snedden M7 logged many flight hours and won 2 awards at Oshkosh Air Adventure 2009. It was also written up in the online version of Popular Mechanics and many other publications. This was just a wind tunnel test for training purposes.

  • NICE TOY BUT CAN IT FLY YOU HAVE A PROP GET SOME BALLS AND TEST IT OUT .

  • Need to add some smokers, to see what was the actual air flow produced by Piper Aztec propellers.

    I think it was a pretty turbulent and hard to "fly"....

    But, othervise a great idea to do safe test "flight"
