Pretty solid projector, except no 1080p. But for 700 bucks on amazon, it's an impossible to beat price!

  • Looks awesome. How does it look in a room with some light in the room? I am thinking about getting one and need to use it for a slide show at a wedding.

  • @mcmerrell its does the job well, I use it in a room with light sometimes, and it looks just as good with a pitch black room, Epson does a very good job at keeping it very bright and clear to see. For what you want it for, as long as there are really bright lights on, you should be able to see it fine. Hope it helped!

  • @HomeBrewedHacks Thanks for the quick response. That helps a lot. I am assuming that 2000 or so lumens is more than enough for a dimly lit room. Being a novice I don't want to too much or too little. Thanks!

  • @mcmerrell Hey no problem! 2000 is good, and if you check it out on Amazon, you will probably get a good price.

  • I just recently got my new Epson EX71 projector. 2500 Lumens...that thing is GREAT!!!

  • Yea, it is great, sure its not 1080p, but the 1080i on it still amazes me!
