@TheJSBUCK i think it's grey god because the color grey would signify neutrality. Meaning that praying to their god is like praying to something that won't move or act, therefore it's pointless to pray to God. At least that's what they think

haha i'm not saying they are a Christian band. I'm in fact saying the opposite. I think that they see praying to God as pointless, and that's why they call Him grey, because it signifies nothingness. By them saying God is pointless obviously makes them not a Christian band. Yet, they said their name came from the Bible, so they certainly aren't ignorant about religion and Christianity
