Nice video. Jimmo, I'm jealous of your set up! Quality stuff, everything from mask to suit to booth.

Is that a 1.3 or 1.4 tip for clear, on a lph400LV or W400 LV.? I'm guessing it's a 1.4 because of the large area your painting. I've been trying to tune my LPH400LV for clear and can't decide between the 1.3 or 1.4 tip. thanks.

its a 1.4 on the W400 for clear

the rust repair was bad. who ever preped that thing broke thu like mad!.. if theirs a rock chip there itll rust gauranteed. painter shouldve sprayed a sealer over that rust repair. aka dog leg panel

I'm not sure where your refering to, the first black coat was a sealer.

I'm a painters helper and I use a tekna and so does da painter and a lot of painters are usin teknas over satas now.I sprayed sikkens wit a sata 3000 and I the tekna sprays it better

@jimmo4life Hey Jimmo, I'm looking around in price to see how much it would cost to paint a hummer H3. I'm looking for a decent look for it, 1 color nothing too fancy, but I want it to last. Around how much will it cost? Including prep, no body work needed?

The plastic has one side that doesn't flake it tells u this side up and if u use the wrong side it will flake

Hi Jimmo

Commenting on a lot of your videos today because I have a lot of questions hehe.

Particularly on this car where you said there was rust repair on the rear quarter panel. Was there rust on the inside of the fender? If so, how did you repair it? Even if there wasn't, how WOULD you repair that? Go under the car and spray it or something?

Do you have a lift to do work like that? I'm working from home in the north east and have a lot of rust to fix on my fenders :(

I can't tell from you're video 100% so if I am wrong I apologize ahead of time, I do know that if you aren't careful about using plastic to mask that the air from the paint gun will cause the plastic to flutter, causing flakes to ruin the paint job.
