KiteGen 2006 Sardegna tests

The kitegen concept: high altitude wind power based on kites. In this configuration MobileGen, the kite reaches altitudes of the order of 350 m; pulling on a power generator located on the ground. High altitude wind power promises to be a low cost and widely available technology able, in principle, to provide amounts of energy comparable, and even superior, to the present production based on fossil fuels. Ottima idea, peccato che sia fatta da italiani per cui non avranno nessun contributo finanziario , ne so qualche cosa. detto questo vorrei capire come funziona il meccanismo di produzione energia che dal filmato non capisco

questo video è veramente ottimo... l'ho scoperto per caso tempo fa facendo una ricerca dentro You Tube sulle Energie rinnovabili... è un gran bel progetto... se andasse avanti potrebbe essere oltre che OTTIMO...anche dare nuova credibilità al nostro Paese.. come impegno evidente nella ricerca ;)

: a quell'altezza è impossibile che non ci sia vento ;) invece hai detto un cosa interessante: e quando piove?... secondo me in quest'altro caso la faccenda dovrebbe riguardare l'attivazione di impianti che possano sfruttare l'energia dei fulmini per ottenere corrente... non so se c'è qualche progetto in corso di progettazione o studio... penso sia una possibilità..se siamo stati capaci di creare la Plasma Ball... (avendone appreso il funziomanto)... possiamo fare di meglio ;)

theoretically, the winds in the 'higher atmosphere' are stronger, but the transmission of the kinetic energy won with this technique is BAD
