Tuesday 20. Februar came the snow to Kristiansand the winter '07, and it snowed continuous many days with gale from east and big amonts of snow.
Wednesday 21. February
It began being caos on the road. Car was stuck, people tried to get the snow away, but the wind soon erased all signs of snowcleaning.
The two europe roads (E18 and E39) was closed 16:00 beacuse of many trailers that had got in the ditch and frozen the traffic. The tempest continued without pause. At bedtime was all smalroads coverd with a layer of snow that cars can't drive in, and cars was stuck between residential areas and centrum.
Thuesday 22. February
We waked up with alot of snow. The news informed that E18 still was closed betweed Kristiansand and Grimstad, and that over 1000 cars had been stuck in up to 24 hours in there cars. Civil defense and Red Cross was gave food and gasoline to the people who were stuck. Not since 1956, the enormous snow winter in Kristiansand have E18 been closed over so long time.

The news asked people to let the car still today.
I had to help people with buying food, Walking Aid is not a suitable for this weather. Overall where i looked it was caos, in Kristiansand sentrum cars stod and spinned in traffic lights. All the parkingplaces was filled with snow or cars. Total caos! E18 was opened kl. 16 after roadservice drived a column with 800 trailers out of the area.
