Pregnancy 1-10a: Baby Accessories to Buy Part 1

Obviously the primary and most fundamental necessities for a child are their parents, love, food and shelter.

While those are the necessities there are a few accessories which make taking care of your baby a lot easier and much safer. If you can afford them, you might want to consider getting them or something similar to them. Part 1 of 3

00:56 - The Baby Stroller
03:31 - The Car Seat
04:01 - The Baby Swing
06:38 - The Travel Crib pt 1

Love it? Hate it? Like it? Know how to do it better? Just looking for advice? Care to comment? contact me: dsw@cluelessfather.com

Or if you want the female side of things talk to my wife. She's the smart one in the family. :D rosew@cluelessfather.com

  • why is she too young for the infant car seat??

  • @iluvreborns0ne Dear Samantha, as I commented below, this was my bad. Our daughter was born 4 weeks early and just over 5lbs when we left the hospital and as someone else pointed out below the car seat is fine from 4lbs and up. I had thought at the time it was 6lbs and up. My bad! As we didn't have a car at the time we never ended up using this car seat with our first daughter, but our second daughter was perfect for it and has been using it regularly. Have a great day! Best, Dare

  • Just wanted to say they DO have a swing that has an Ipod plug in! :)

  • @ihateveryone3 I knew it!!!! I knew it!!! It was only a matter of time! Can you send me the link? Best, Dare

  • @ihateveryone3 Ah I saw it on the Graco Baby page. That's smart, they went with a headphone mini-plug jack so as to be able to fit any type of mp3/music device into it instead of just limiting it to ipods. Thanks for the heads up!!! Best, Dare

  • Lets get more cribsters then bfvsgf

  • @cluelessfather It's called Graco - Sweetpeace Newborn Soothing Swing.

  • @cluelessfather Aw thank you very much, i think my midwife said something about the baby being lower, if that means the baby has dropped then i am happy. Yes, it probably will be quite hectic as my 2 little 'angels' go back to school from their holidays on Monday ( but they will be having a day off that day) I will be taking a newborn baby and a 4 year old with attitude and a 8 year old that can't help but break something to a christening. I will contact you soon after i have settled back in :)

  • @MsGeordieGirlz Wow! Phenomenal!!! Have a great delivery!!! From what I know, it only hurts more if you're actually not ready to be induced (i.e. too early). If the baby has already "dropped" then you're probably ready to go! I realize life will be crazy for the first bit after the new arrival, but when you get a moment please let me know how everything went! Again congratulations for a third beautiful child arriving to your family! Best, Dare

  • @cluelessfather Hi, I might try the Graco travel crib out then :) i will try to persuade my husband anyway.I always update my information so last week i was 39 weeks but i was actually due my baby yesterday but he decided against that idea so my midwife picked me Friday to be induced (not looking forward to it as i hear it is more painful) but when i had my 2nd baby i had to be induced because i was overdue but my first baby,Jaden, he came 5 weeks early and was premature. And thank you so much ;)
