This petticoat is of course NOT authentic for 1860! It is coverd with ruffles of petticoatnylon and has an elastic in the waistband.

  • Did you make this?

  • @chayyie37 Yes, the complete dress in cluding unterwear is handmade by me :)

  • This is one of the hottest videos on youtube. If I were a rich cotton planter's son from a huge sprawling plantation, I would be honored to have your hand for a waltz at the next cotillion ball and barbecue. We'd look awesome dancing on the ballroom floor as your fluffy ruffles billowed, probably slapping the black servants as they served drinks to quench our thirsts.

  • @plantationmuscleboy :

Chér monsieur, je ne suis pas très flatte par votre supposition. Je ne bats personne! Je suis une fille des Lumières.

  • @Daniela:

this corset is not meant for tight lacing, it is from an authentic pattern of the 1860's and has a more tubular form. I have also one from the 1870's for a bit tighter lacing, but I don't like to lace too tight and faint ;)

  • That is some dress

  • lol

  • wow !

  • @relieveweddingstress the jane Austen style was a regency gown, which puts the waistline just under the bust and the skirt is almost completely strait from there down. This is the hoop, shemise, corset, and petticoats that go under the actual gown. By the size of the hoop it looks like Thai should be from about 1850-1860.

  • Read folks! It's not a dress

  • my quince dress is really ouffy like that one and long:) love these kind of dresses:D LIKE YOUR DRESS BY THE WAY <3

  • beautiful dress

  • Reminds me of a beautiful bygone era from the Jane Austen period.
