Our King Arthur trebuchet, dubbed Jeckyl and Hyde, fires off 9 shots in our first launch of the year on April 6, 2008. All shots with 50 pound counterweight and firing a baseball except for one poor attempt with a golfball. The sling was too long, so distances were very disappointing, and we had a head wind all day too. Plus bumping issues. Shot distances in order of appearance (same order as they were shot): 180', 180', 5' (spiked that one, you can see it if you look closely), 80', 70' (golfball, almost spike shot here too), 250', 215', 255', and you can see the last one for yourself.
