  • He is our Chi gong master Shi Yong Yau. Teaching at Oakland Asian Cultural Center. It takes years of training. There is something else even more rare to see then this "Gold head'. He only perform this rare form of Chi Gong on very special occasion. The last time was performing for the "police and detective conference" in San Francisco two years ago. That was truly amazing! Interested in practice Chi Gong for good health? I am his coordinator.

Hello Grace! I met the Song Shan Shaolin Monks about 4 years ago when they arrived in San Francisco. Let them know I said hello! I used to work with Bernadine at SF City Hall. Thanks! I'm glad they are doing well!

  • it's called qigong, it's about transferring qi energy to different parts of the body, whereever the qi is concentrated it makes that part of the body invincible, the release of energy blocks the pain and the qi makes his skull 4times harder than a normal persons( by doing training excercies of gettin hit on the head for 2hours everyday for 2years) *takes breath*

  • wow..I never knew that...sounds harsh...

  • I can see how he can take the pain, but how the hell does he create the physical strength to just snap the metal in half like that?

  • practice, meditation and lots of chi control I suppose.

  • @godmode9 I've got a very big, hard head, and while I could BEND steel with it I doubt I could BREAK steel. Certainly not clean. Their technique is much more advanced than simply brute force or a hard cranium.

  • simple its physics that caused the metal bar to break, still very nice

  • if you pratice this alooot!! and for your whole life you might be able to do a Kamehameha, but only 2 people in history ever managed to do that sort of stuff...

  • it has nothing to do with chi or ki or energy.

When you hit yourself (on your forehead for example) repeatedly but not extremely hard you cause microfractures in that piece of bone. When the bone heals it becomes more dense. When this procedure is done repeatedly (years) the regrown bone is as hard as a rock.

  • Shaolins are super humans!!

  • yup...he is still alive...I seen many of the kung fu demostrations...he does it everytime.
