Only three cities in the world will experience this exciting new production of Stephen Sondheim's musical masterpiece Sunday in the Park with George. Developed in London and transferred to Broadway, this Pulitzer Prize-winning love story (inspired by the life and work of impressionist painter Georges Seurat) comes to Seattle April 21-May 10. Featuring revolutionary state-of-the-art scenic design the New York Post hailed "Unmissable! One of the most visually amazing shows ever!" this moving story answers the question: What does it take to create a masterpiece? Everything you have. Broadway's Hugh Panaro stars as George with Seattle favorite Billie Wildrick in "the role of a lifetime" as Dot/Marie.

  • Uhm, this IS a real musical. One of Sondheim's finest, and the most moving piece of theatre I've seen live. This production was incredible, and although I prefer the London/Broadway cast, both Hugh and Billie are terrific performers, the orchestrations have been wonderfully improved, and the set is still absolutely breathtaking. Just because you were bored by the lack of choreography doesn't mean it's a horrible show.

  • If you get this show, you should by crying.

  • this is brilliant, the use of projections in Putting Together, and everything, Its all amazing!!!!!!!

  • think listening to the CD does the musical justice. after watching this it doesn't live up to what i thought, but didn't go to the theatre and see it.

  • Do they do this on DVD? I really hope so!

  • i love the animations! Such a great way to use improvement in technology to improve the show!

  • it's moments like 4:15 that remind me of how much I love Hugh Panaro

  • That's incredibleeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Aw! I found it such a shame that this George had some intonation issues in the shown performance of "Move On". Maybe the available studio recordings and of course the fantastic Mandy Patinkin rendition from the 1986 film had raised my expectations. I'm sure this complete performance would nonetheless be yet another fantastic Sondheim show to watch.
