@Fullmetal898 I have the same sound on my KLDE. I dont have the money to pay someone...... how hard is it to get to the tensioner?? Or drop the motor?

belt tensioner for this car is 90$ at the parts store but to get to it you have to drop the motor

First thing I thought of was belt slap from a broken tensioner spring. It's not a metal on metal sound. Check the tension on the timing belt. You can pull the valve cover off and check in less than 5 minutes yourself. MX6.com should have plenty of guys to help you.

@jpuariea It's not a KLZE. You're simply getting fooled by the straight intake manifold. The KLZE has a much longer neck. This is the KLDE or KLG4.

It is the tensioner same problem here...took me over a year to figure it out...actually gave up on the car...till I figured it out. Lol

Been looking into it.. Timing belt tension-er is the problem.. lifters not dead.. mine is REALLY bad.. :-/
