'Safalta' is a short film about a striving auto-mechanic (Bal Krisna Maharjan) who dreams of becoming a Thangka artist against all odds. When his professional life dramatically ends in a car accident making him a cripple, a new painter is then born in him that changes his life forever.
Shot in the backdrop of Nepal's mystical city of Kathmandu in Nepali-Newari language, here is a little treat from a group of aspiring film-makers (London & Kathmandu) to the world. We hope you'll enjoy it.
