Perhaps thanking the Germans is out of the question, but sometimes we do. Without the Germans, the Brits and their queen wouldn't feel so weak and let go the colonies, they will continue to conquer the world. Wherever they conquer, those unfortunate nations will be their slaves and the Brits will always be on top of the food chain.

@StJamesapostle That makes no sence at all! WW1 &WW2 were WORLD WARS. The world should be thankful the UK put up the fight it did against the germans otherwise we'd probly still be at war! What war has the UK ever dragged the world in to? We backed the US in iraq we choose not to get involved with vietnam, we faught argantina. The british empire made the world what it is today by spreading civilized way of life! America,autrailia,canada ow there future to our past! Read up on UK history.

NATO Military Budgets: 1 - USA with 687 Billion dollars. 2 - France with 61 Billion dollars. 3 - Britain with 57 Billion dollars. 4 - Germany with 46 Billion dollars. The US has a higher budget than the next top 9 put together. Canada's is 20 Billion. These budgets are not being spent with the intention of not using the things they buy. It is clear everyone has the same agenda. But of course just like in ww2 and ww1 Britain is dragging everyone to war. Making them spend billions... Clearly.

Stole land and caused war all over the world? Like it was for no reason? Like a bully? Utter, nonsense. Look what spain did to South America and then take a look at what France and the UK have done for North America. First power to push for aboloshing the slave trade? Great Britain, Head of the Commonwealth of Nations? Great Britain. Britain gives roughly 12 Billion to charity every year, so does Germany and France. The US gives 28 billion. Yet it has 5 times the pop' of Britain.

Dragged? Politcal strife and global/territorial wars are complicated situations. Dragging simply isn't an option. To be able to look at a world war in that kind of simplicity is pretty naive. It seems like your making out that Great Britain forced people to fight for them... I suppose Poland dragged Britain to war, and France too...
