@SOPM2007 Actually, they added what they called a "six pack" of batteries where the passenger seat went, so this one was a real hot rod.

my '99 Vette tops out at 175 mph with 350 hp, so 183 mph is cooking! Said GM crushed them all : (

Unbelievable! So the car's power had to have been dramatically limited. But at this speed the batteries might drained within a few minutes.
Is there a full version of the speed test video in better quality? I would love to watch it!

it was a test car never produced in that color just a demo vers.

they did produce a hybrid and fuel cell ev1 in euro but those were were in limited production and destroyed few still stand tall but are diabled but they are in a GM mueseum in euro if im not mistakein

go to google maps and satelite view it'll be near I10 exit 246 firestone road. you'll see the over head view of a huge oval and alot of other track designs.
