A video tape of a television hijack that took place last year during a Channel 4 broadcast of 'Man to Man with Dean Learner'. The signal was hijack and a series of bizarre images was shown before normal transmission was resumed. It was similar to the Max Headroom and Midnight Cowboy hijacks of the late '80s

This reminded me of movies where people with high clearances were kidnapped and brainwashed for many hours non-stop with similar video and audio footage. The main goal was to embed a subliminal message so that when the brainwashed person sees and hears the message, it will trigger the associated command. Most of the times such things were used for assassination.
