This is really bad quality compression havent got time to do it properly before hand in
Basic Story: Male character has lost his wife/partner and struggles through daily life, while walking down the street he gets hit by a car leaving him critically injured and in a coma.
The man does not know he is dying and when he wakes up sees a vision of his dead wife/partner who vanishes so he makes chase.
They are reunited and she shows him his body where he has to accept to die and be with his true love or return to his body and live but be dead inside
the man chooses to be with his wife and moves on to the unknown after life with her
This is my final year project for my course in Digital character animation at Teesside university
There's so much more needs done with this, most of the time was spent doing the backgrounds so the animation suffered, Some scenes where done in a day, and every scene is really just on its first pass i need to go back to each one and refine it
This is what im handing in but Ill be continuing work on it so it actually looks decent. This was my first time using cut out animation which was ok but definitely like the blend between cut-out and traditional
Music is "True" by the Frames © 2007 ANTI- records, it had to be edited to fit the piece I had to cut out the first verse and chorus but I really want to go back and do a full version of all 5 minutes

Not much criticism to give, just small things. When he's running after the woman, his expression seems a bit angry to me. Also the black outline of the woman isn't as thick as the mans...
Also thought it would be good if you could actually hear the beeps of the heart monitor.
Awsome work though and I love your backgrounds!

i liked the overall tone of the piece....i think onr of the best backgrounds was the bathroom scene with the shower curtain and water coming from the tap.
but in relation to the music i feel the timing of the drum beat when he lands was slightly off...the beat is a second late after he lands and although its obviously just part of the music it sounded like him landing but was bit late.
great scene when he sees himself in the bed and when music fades out to the heart monitor
