I've restored 3 of these trucks. I know that they came with the 302. As well as the 240-6 the 300-6 the 352, the 360 & the 390. Boss 302's are actually Cleveland 302s's. The actual BOSS 302 blocks have the early heads that are used on the 351c. You can still do this if you can find some 351c heads laying around and it's called a Clover mod. Actually having a real BOSS 302 is very rare. I will be doing this mod on my own 302 which will be on Youtube sometime in June.
