one, maybe the best concert in my entire life: I remember 1988 in Hamburg, Alsterdorfer Sporthalle Germany; 13 blacks a came out a large Disco ball and beleave me the all entire hall dance the night away

Live in japan 94' got maruice white it's his last full concert tour with the band.
Maybe the one you saw is after the one in japan.
He's very ill in that performance but he gave everything all out.

I saw them in 1994. Sadly without Maurice. It was an excellent show, but was kind of like seeing the Beatles without John Lennon.

No, it does look like Philip on a guitar but its a percussion instrument making a cowbell sound during september

If i was in charge of the soundboard on this one i'd definatly put the bass from the drum and the lead guitar up a bit more! It is indeed a different sound to back in the day and i'm not sure what i prefer.. this is probably the best concert i have seen on tape so far though!
