Eurasia Model United Nations Conference 2011

Eurasia MUN 2011 is here to continue its legacy from last year as a one-of-its-kind conference. Only that it will be bigger and better this year, with a theme that will leave a mark on the lives of the delegates who attend it. This year, LUMUN and MUN Passau bring to you a conference with the aim of highlighting topics which are of increasing relevance to the world we live in today. We welcome 300 bright minds to a truly global setting with exposition of cultures from all over the world in the beautiful city of Passau!
Why Eurasia?
With a growing trend of MUN conferences in the world, Eurasia MUN has joined the league of prestigious conferences which serve the purpose of bringing together young energetic and intelligent individuals. What sets Eurasia apart from other conferences is that the delegates it hosts are are not bound by color, religion, or ethnicity. It is an amalgamation of two diverging cultures with a single aim of making a difference in this world! The people bringing together this conference are playing a proactive role in this regard. The delegates are welcome to contribute!

At Eurasia 2011 we wish to simulate committees and debate over topics that have become increasingly important in today's world. Humanitarian aspect of war, ever-increasing natural calamities and their repercussions, rules of space exploration etc are some of the broad topics which need serious attention. We also hope to unfold UN resolutions that have become redundant with changing times and need to be revisited for a better today and tomorrow. This aspect of the conference not only makes it different but also, relevant in today's world!

Each night of the social events will be a night to remember! After an exhausting day of intense debate, socials will be a chance for you to relax and let loose and brace yourselves for the time of your life.
