Sir, thanks for the years of inspirational videos. I actually cant afford $1 a week, since I have 0 income, but I wish you the best, and that this remains successful.

@h2olacky We are all in debt to you for your countless hours devoted to helping others learn to play guitar better.
For some of you people to even begin complain about Dave asking for compensation is outrageous and offensive to me. What ungrateful steaming piles of crap you people must be.

It is incredibly dismaying to see how entitled people think they are to everything. If you're one of these people on here complaining, step back a second and think about this: your watching videos on youtube for free, what a privilege. You're are fortunate enough to live with means to buy the personal computer that you are using, what a luxury in comparison to most of world
Dave, thank you for posting all your videos and all the time you've put in to helping others better their guitar playing.

@Jok3rSlapAh03 Jesus Christ man that's a bit personal.
-
@RoarCrusade Wrong we are not complaining we are just providing our opinions. For every action there is a reaction some people react in different ways. You can;t label everyone a "hater" just because they disagree with Dave hoping on the "lets get rich off of youtube" bandwagon.

@stratometer In Case you did not know, Weiner is a PRO musician. He tours with Vai, puts out albums which you can buy at many reputable places, sells merch...etc he is making a living for himself, he even has Ibanez making custom shop models for him. And based on all the gear that he has and the size of his home studio i would not consider Dave to be someone who is struggling. What he chooses to do on his free time IE "riffoftheweek" should not come at the expense of others.

@mad1661 All I was saying was saying that it's getting expensive with the amount of money he makes is like a slap in the face to people who don't make as much money as him. That's all. I understand why he wants to charge for it, but it doesn't sound good for him to say that.
-
@mad1661 Wrong, according to what I've read most endorsements are discounts, not free gear. He may have that level of endorsement, but I don't know for sure. And, I know, I said sure, it's his job so he can have it, but there's no way ROTW is costing him that much money if he's been able to do it all these years and upgrade it out of his own free will.

And if you do free lessons of something, can you post them so I can watch your free lesson? And before you say in response that you do free lessons, please make sure you have 6 years under your belt so you can understand where he is coming from.
Hey folks! All of the super kick ass teachers in my neighborhood that are world class players as well as having the same awesome finesse as teachers, and that have been giving free lessons for the past six years are pissed at the nerve of this Dave Weiner guy too!
Oh, that's right. Those guys don't exist.
Dave has been giving this quality stuff away for YEARS of his life, and now when he's asking you - his students - to pay as little as a buck a week, you balk? Un-flippen believable.

hello Dave , i thought when you first started ROTW it was a little ambitious
i thought what could he possible talk about every week but you have
done very well in keeping up with this an being a touring musician with Vai
and your own music as well .
i wont probably be a subr. but i do commend you on your work and ability to see something through. 6yrs is more than generous for the time you put into this and
i hope that sub. will be plentiful , and thx for the work you have shared .
