On an overhyped swell posted on the internet, I decided to try something different. Thanks to my friends at Wetsand, they let me demo a Wegener Alaia Surfboard. After a few awkward takeoffs, I rode my first wave...and what a feeling...this thing is soo much fun! It goes so fast and is sensitive to your slightest movement....I still can't get over the feeling of gliding so fast across a section...I am amped to have an Alaia in my quiver of boards!

just made my first one and it ended up working surprisingly well. it is 6'8'' with a single concave with 50 50 triangular rails. my first time was exactly like yours! ahaha. i was sooo surprised at how well it got its self into waves and how fast it was. i recommend making one to anyone
