As improbable as it seems, a puppy can swallow an 11" steak knife and survive without any apparent lasting effects. Veterinarians from across the country have submitted x-rays in a contest to find the most unusual objects found in a pet's stomachs. Will the winner be the snake who ate the light bulbs or the dog who ate nine batteries of various sizes?

  • My female Pyr once found a zip-lock bag of french fries. She ate the whole thing, bag included! 2 days later she pooped it out - completely wrapped! LOL

  • My dog is an idiot as well. I have to watch him like a hawk. He eats pills, slugs, snails, bees, plastic, dryer sheets, lint, toilet paper, kleenex, coins, mail, soap, poop, barf, styrofoam, socks, god I can't even remember the rest. He's 2 and he's been doing it his whole life.
