This is a video proof-of-concept for one of the tools that I am creating related to BlackBerry spyware. I recently delivered a talk at Hack In The Box Security Conference in October where I spoke about how you can turn a BlackBerry into a portable bug and listen to sounds around or near the handheld. This video provides a demonstration of the tool I wrote.

The demo shows how the application behaves when an unknown and known number calls it. When a known number calls the phone, it answers the call, activates speakerphone and switches to the home screen so as not to alert the user about what's going on.

here i show you what adding a ps2 lens does to the bb camera. my ps2 didn't work so i pulled apart the optical dvd drive to get the lens and this was the result.
good quality macro photos. end of video shows some photos i recently have taken.
