Well I had my eyebrow pierced, I still have my down lip pierced and also tounge ... and I have to say .. the worst pain was the tounge ... I didnt felt anything with the eyebrow .. and a little, little pain with the lip .. but the tounge was too much for me .. but did it anyway and now Im satisfied :DD

Getting your tongue pierced is not that painful at all. I just got mine done and it doesn't hurt. I would rate the pain in a 1-10 a 3 not painful at all. My lip hurt worse then getting my tongue.

@treehamallama the bar is long so that the tongue has room for swelling but when the swelling goes down the piercer puts a shorter bar in .

The tongs actually depends on the length of your tongue- or your fraculum- did I spell that correctly?
Anyways, if you have a shorter tongue length- it feels like they're trying to rip the tongue out of your mouth instead of piercing it which definitely ups the pain factor, lol.
Im super nervous to get mine pierced this thursday for my 18th birthday. Im a total science nerd so Im investigating the risks and everything ;P

haha whimppp. ha its cool i was scared when i got mine done too haha but it doesnt hurt. so far ivee hadd....16 peircings. but now i only have my nipples and my tongue peirced. i love peircings.
