  • @F1nir What's so good about Google TV? Once they get it right ... the mashup between TV and the Internet.... What I want is Tweetdeck and broadcast TV on my 50 inch flat-screen TV. I want to be able to watch TV and answer my e-mails at the same time. I want to watch a ballgame and receive links I can click on to get further stats on the players. I want to participate in my TV more. Imagine being able to watch a world-wide event unfolding on TV and tweet about it to a worldwide audience.

  • @SlashRose It has both Wi-Fi and Ethernet. I hooked mine up directly to the Cable Modem via Ethernet. It seems to run faster that way.

  • @cruddell001 It has an app (called what's on?) which allows you to search the TV listings and switch to the right channel.

  • @andreo I have a DVD recorder that has an over the air tuner in it made by Toshiba. It works well receiving over the air digital TV.

  • @UvoraTheOnlineWorld I would say the main feature is to be able to watch / listen to the Internet (similar to Boxee Box or Roku or Apple TV). But it also allows you to watch broadcast TV. Hopefully, the thought of mashing-up TV and Internet has already occurred to the designers at Google TV. The unit runs the Android operating system (just like my cellphone). But there's one big flaw: NO ANDROID MARKET. There's only about 20 or so Apps. You can't get at the rest.

  • It runs Android 2.1 just like my phone, but rendered useless without Android Marketplace. It only has about 20 or so apps. For example you can't download Angry Birds and play on your TV. You can't download a drawing application to doodle drawings on your TV. You can't download Tweetdeck so you can tweet about a TV show while watching it. I wanted to watch TV and have a picture in picture window to watch the Internet. What is the holdup in delivering the promised update?? Still waiting

  • @bwj123859 just need high speed

  • Do you pay a monthly fee or do you just need Highspeed Internet connection?

  • @dudeproductions100 the main feature is the dvr, but i want internet on my tv...

  • i love my google tv it faster then my computer oline
