Making of Lungi Using Hand Loom

The "Gamchha" and "Lungi" made from hand loom(tant) are very famous throughout the Bangladesh. In this video, you are watching two woman are making Lungi using a hand loom.

This video is taken from the village of "Jugia" (also known as "Karigar para") of Kushtia town. Its just 3/4 kilometer northern of kushtia town.

This is really a hard working process, but according to the spent time and energy, they are not paid relatively. This product just diminishing day by day after competing with the mechanical or industrial products.
