Widespread fires have forced Chile to close the Patagonian Torres del Paine National Park, although the fires have now been contained. The fire consumed over 5700 hectares of the park despite the efforts of hundreds of firefighters from Chile and Argentina. Chilean government officials said they suspect arson and have announced the arrest of Israeli tourist Rotem Singer. But his family defended him, claiming the authorities are making him a scapegoat.

Chilean prosecutor Juan Melendez said Rotem Singer acknowledged his role in allowing the fire to start through negligence. But Singer denied the allegations during an interview with Army Radio Galatz, saying that he didn't actually confess. The tourist's father said Rotem was a kilometre away from the fire when his friends woke him. Hundreds of tourists have been evacuated from the popular national park since the fire began, and the Chilean president declared the region a disaster area.

  • @Macarenita85 I do not think people are idiots but I do think that people base their views upon self-intuitions rather than on facts. This relates to your comment about Gaza. The 'humanitarian' aid to Gaza consisted of long expired medicine which the Palestianian authorities themselves had to get rid of. And if going further in this subject, the Israeli authorities allowed those 'peace' activists to disembark their load in the Ashdod airport which is not in the Gaza strip,

  • @Macarenita85 Not all the couuntries give support. The European countries are very selfish !

  • whoever that guy is, israeli, american, russian — he must be burned for what he has done. i've been at torres del paine a week ago, that is a fucking disaster. none of that mountain vegetaition is going to grow back in this century. those trees grow on fucking stone and it takes them decades to grow. he must be fucking slaughtered for destroying the most beautiful place on the face of the planet

  • @eliaviel1 I’ve seen they are the same educated and the same sensibility here, than in Europe and U.S ...

  • @eliaviel1 Yes, Israel is one of the most kind country on Earth! Pleaseee.. ¿what do u think people are? Idiots? All the countries around the world give support when it happen a disaster in some country, that’s not a big thing… (I hope that if happens an earthquake in Irán, they also send rescue teams) why Israel doesn’t allow other countries to send support to Ghaza to the palestinian refugees? Refugee status thanks to the "humanitarian and respectful" Israel.

  • @HotIsraelisGirls Oh my God.... STOP YOU WITH THE CENSORSHIP, I LIVE IN A COUNTRY WITH FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION!! I CALL ISRAEL AS I WANT, I DONT LIKE HOW ISRAEL HAS DONE IN ALL ITS HISTORY, SO I AM IN MY RIGHT TO CAN THINK AND SAY THAT I HATE ISRAEL.

  • @LaRojaAustral

I wish that everybody will understand what u said, but know, they must insult all the Israelis and all the jews . thx :)

  • @HotIsraelisGirls and how about two jews??? cause if you look for miguel sacal smekel you'll see what this other jew just did in mexico, so that's 2, let's wait for numbers 3, 4, 5, etc, etc, etc

  • He's not the only one jewish in this world and his country didn't help him. So, stop the racism, I know many of the haters here wouldn't have said anything if the guy had been german, english or from another country. So, more respect for Jewish people...In each country there are good and evil people and those who are not evil but idiots.

  • @Macarenita85 Hello ! We respect human lives. Israel is one of the countries which sends rescue teams whenever some problem occurs in the world. We sent a rescue team to Turkey when an earthquake took place. We sent a rescue team to Haiti when there was a flood. We send healthcare teams to Africa in case there is a famine. But the Israeli youth going to South America are not very educated. They have just graduated a military service.
