Anti-Russian force forming in NATO?

There's mounting disquiet in the Russia-NATO Council ahead of this Friday's key meeting. Russia's envoy blames Canada for blocking efforts for the military alliance to work closer with Moscow, and that there's a growing faction intent on upsetting co-operation between them. It comes as European foreign ministers meet in Athens to consider President Medvedev's plan to harmonise transatlantic security.

@nertos466 you're obviously ignorant. Russia was trying to claim Canada's northern lands as its own. With the ice caps melting, one of the largest oil supplies is now becoming accessible. Since Canada is the US's largest source for energy, it hardly makes it a "virtually irrelevant country".
