@naniekso Hey bro, I've found that along with all the things this guy did, If you take a 220 sandpaper to the area you're going to paint and lightly sand just to create some Surface lines for the paint to fill into.

1. put masking tape on board
2. spray paint board
3. let dry
4. pull tape off board
5. apply a couple coats of clear coat
6. go surf!

what clear coat did you use? and did you just layer a coat of it over the graphic?

i think pretty much any clear coat would work... i used a clear semi gloss spar urethane... the brand was called varathane and i bought it at Home Depot. i did 2 coats just over the graphic portion of the board

hey man how long did the paint last? how many coats did you put?

the paint is still holding up as good as the first day i applied it. just make sure to put a couple coats of clear coat.
