Good Morning Country Rain - Country 760 - Buck White and the Downhome Folks Live at Randy Wood's Old Time Pickin Parlor. Buck doesn't have a mole on his cheek but my album cover had a little chunk of crud stuck on it that I didn't notice until I watched the video.
This album introduced me to the Whites. Loved it. Have followed them through the years in bluegrass and their country years. Buck is one of the finest mandolin players you will hear. Can tear it up on the piano also. Great group!

Saw them live in 1978 at the Berkshire Mt. Bluegrass Festival and they stole the show, then Marty Stuart got up and jammed with them. They mentioned the Englishtown Music Hall at that concert too.

I was raised on bluegrass. My dad played his banjo on my moms tummy while I was still in the womb. That was in the mid sixtys. This music is in my blood and this song just raises havoc with my emotions.

What great memories this has brought back to my childhood in the late 70's. It reminds me of sitting on my dad's shoulders listening to one of first tastes of bluegrass....

I spent many Friday and Saturday evenings in 1976-77 at the Bluegrass Manufacturing Company
in CLarksville Tenn. listening to this wonderful band, thank you for the reminder of some great times and talented musicians!

Do you happen to have that LP? If so I'd be very interested in a copy...Jack Hicks doing a great job on that melodic solo!
