Bow is how I originally learned. I also found cluster shots from bowgun works even better. So either all face shots with bow or lots of body shots with cluster from bowgun.

I have mhfu. so how come this is a downloadable content. im in hr9 and this is a special quest. I didnt have to download. so how come u guys had to. do u guys have mhf2? caus eif u do then thats probably y. just wondering

@ukanlos71 , this is MHP2ndG with an English Patch. We bought Unite a few months ago but can't seem to get into it after we sunk so much time into the exact same game when it was in Japanese. We're just waiting on the next PSP or PS3 one.

@ReneidKlein isnt mhf2ndG the same as unite? And it shows the fatalis quest as a special quest so idk whats wrong with ur quest. what guild lvl r u? if its 9 then u should have it

@ukanlos71 , I'm not sure what you mean. What rank am I on 2ndG or Unite? On 2ndG I've been HR9 the whole time. On Unite I only got to like HR3 before I stopped playing. There are two Fatalis G rank quests for each one. There is one you can unlock that is a repel quest that usually takes 3 or 4 rounds to kill and they fly away after like 25 minutes each time. And then there is the download one where you HAVE to kill it in one round or you lose.

Well in the original monster hunter using clust shots was the only way to beat him really because he could one hit anybody. In mhfu you can actually use a melee weapon.

@ukanlos71 ok i'll tell u how 2 unlock it (4 HR6 u have 2 do ALL of ur training skool with every weapons) (4 HR9 u need 2 do atless 1 weapon of every G rank traing skool quest) and 2 get crimson u need 2 KILL the black fatalis in round and 4 wht fat kill crimson fat and all of the G RANK EPIC HUNTING QUESTS hope all this help

uh... this mobs isnt much aggresive... though... it just stays there and do nothing...
