The Wailing Wall

My trip to Israel in the summer of 2008 was so much fun and so amazing, but the best part of the trip wasn't the parties or the cool adventures that we got to go on. What made this trip so incredible was that I finally found what I can only believe to be God. While standing in front of the Western Wall in the middle of the Old City of Jerusalem, I felt this electricity shoot through my body. It felt like a warm hand was sitting on my shoulder as a comforting voice echoed through my head. My body vibrated with this surge of energy and I felt my eyes well up with tears and my chest grow heavy. It was all over in less than a second, yet the experience was so powerful that it actually convinced me of God's existence.
