I don't think Barbara should be the one to make harsh judgments on Sofie. Afterall, it's not like Barbara has never manipulated people, gone or been declared crazy or even been put in a mental institution before. If Hal were here, he would be reminding Barbara of that.

Forgiveness is a beautiful thing. No matter how hard the offense I think people should be forgiven, even Sophie. However, in the mean time, Sophie has been acting very childish, clinging on to a man she has a crush on. I know she has serious problems so I know she is the way she is for a reason. Meg always says she wishes Sophie can get the help she needs. I do, too.

every time Meg is near paul or talk to him you see her eye´s sparkle she has that with no one else let´s hope and pray that when ATWT comes to an end they are Back together with their daughter

Yeah right. Sophie didn't become like that on her own. She has no family except for her daughter, who she had to give up, because the father, Cole wouldn't step up. Has no one to turn to and it seems Paul led her astray when she thought he loved her. How would you feel if you had a life like that? She just wants to be loved!
Besides how do we know Paul's not going to hurt Meg again? Paul's the reason that Meg lost her baby, would you forgive anyone for something like that?
