Suspicionless Search + Arrest

Just finished work, spot a pcso and police officer up ahead, they stop on their bicycles and appear to wait for me, so I started recording.

I was handcuffed and arrested, then taken to the station. At the station I was allowed to log into my ebay account and show the receipt for the £90 camera, I was released almost immediately.

You are correct - in the case of assault, of course he doesn't need to know the law -its obvious that there is a REAL CRIME being committed. BUt in a case where he is attempting to kidnap someone and there is absolutely no immediate danger, he can easily radio in and get the wording. Then the 'suspect' can decide whether or not the officer is making sense of full of shit like in this case.

what a cunt, if you don't know the law how can you enforce it, statutory acts require consent from both sides, if you don't consent they can't search you. And who the fuck carries around a receipt for every item they posess.

fascist state exists at a number of different levels.

one is the one that you can see of people in fancy dress thowing their weight around in an intimidating way cos we all let them.

At another more subtle level it is the state we are all in of seeing life in terms of us and them .. and too easily seeing the worst in others inc the piggies most of whom also have a good side (that can too easily get swallowed by institution to conform to - the same as we conform to breaking rules)
