  • What chorus pedal did you engage @ 7:49?

  • @TheRealRayJ Jaques Meistersinger.

  • what's the point of buying an artist's guitar? buy your own standard strat and build your own story!

  • @chorthithian - sure thing, I've got some other Strats. I used it to avoid the hum of the Single Coils so the listener can focus on the Pedal as good as possible. Hope this makes sense. The Clapton Strat has Noiseless Pickups.

  • what exactly does the voice knob do?

  • @TheRealErob - it changes the Midrange Characteristic. It always sounds sweet never harsh on any position.

  • @HKM67 maxon rto700 overdrive pedal! its the best thing you can get and it has a beautiful noisegate :D

  • How does this compare to a fultone ocd would you say?

  • one of the better sounding o/d pedals i've heard any know the price range for one of these gems??

  • @megatallicadeth dude, check out the Visual Sound Jekyll & Hyde pedal. It's 2 pedals in one, with an overdrive side and a distortion side. I use the overdrive side on mine for the typical overdrive sound, but when i do solos, i use both channels together and it gets a GREAT distortion sound, not digital or fake sounding. It really is an outstanding pedal!

feel free to shoot me a PM if you want more info on it, but i'd really recommend trying one out if you can

  • I'm looking for a distortion pedal in which I can play diferent styles. I hate the Metal pedals that sound so "digital" and annoying but still, the genre is something I play with my band.I also like the overdrive sound for other sorts of songs. I was wondering if theres a way you can equalize the sound of this pedal to a closer sound of a distortion one (putting all the gain up, increase the trebel, etc.) but also equalize it to use the sweet overdrive sound it has.

    Thanks!

  • For those asking what the "voice" knob does, it is linked to the gain control and attenuates the low end. The maximum gain is achieved when the voice knob is fully clockwise. The more you turn it counter clockwise the more low end you get but it also limits the gain. The tone knob is used to adjust the high end content.
